Sample IB diploma Theatre Arts workshop – one day

IB Theatre Arts is one of the few examinations in the world that gives students credit for being creative, inventive and taking risks.  It also recognizes the importance of the group in the overall development of the individual.  Through its study of world theatre it validates the role of drama in the life of all communities.

These workshops include many practical workshop activities for participants. This sample is for teachers new to the programme, though ideally it could be extended to two days for a more in-depth experience. It can also act as a refresher course for more experienced teachers, with more topics covered in greater detail.
